***** Excellent way to get rid of that creature you draw that you just don't need and to exchange it for that creature you really need.

***** I thought of combos around this card when I first saw it. One of the best cards printed for a very, very long time. There are SO many combos based around this card (everything form various Cereal decks, to RecurSur, to the very cool Full English Breakfast). I like this card so much that I hoard it. Kind of sucks that it got banned in 1.X, it was one of the best cards in the format.

***** This card is so good that it was banned in Extended format. This lets you get absolutely any creature in your deck into your hand, and if you have Squee, Goblin Nabob, you can do it every turn. Need to get some blockers? Search for Deranged Hermit. Need to get rid of artifacts or enchantments? Search for Uktabi Orangutan or Monk Realist. Need a way to win? Search for Morphling. Survival, the best green search card ever printed, combines well with Recurring Nightmare, the best recursion card ever printed, to get out really big creatures fast. Survival is a card with many, many uses, so your deck to use it in is limited only by your imagination.
