It's a pretty good card. It's a 4/3 with flying and haste, and it takes 5 to cast, though much of that mana has to be red. It's also got a grandeur effect which can be pretty nifty in the right situation, but for the most part it's a curiousity. If you don't desperately need the +4/+4, just wait until your next turn and summon the extra Bladewing. -- By rogonandi from Edmonton, AB Canada on May 08, 2007 |

to my fellow player above, you cant play another blade wing the next turn, its a legend and the legend rule states that when a legend with the same name comes into play destroy both legends. -- By Thor from Millville, Hawaii UK on May 16, 2007 |

This new concept makes legendary a little more useful. A 4/3 flyer with haste for only 5 mana is very good. -- By Anonymous from Columbus OH USA on May 17, 2007 |

This card is amazing, and response to the other post, you can't cast another one since hes legendary so just grandeur him, its quite amazing consider the great amount of damage you can pull early on. -- By VpZ101 from Hammytown, Canada on May 17, 2007 |

It's a good card that's probaly going to see a good amount of play. The grandeur ability is great allowig you to make him a 32\31 if you have 3 extra copies in your hand. (OR less if you cards like evolution charm) This card I think is a good card without haste and flying because of its Granduer abilty. flying esp. haste are just a bonus. I put this three of these guys in my red/green aggro deck. It was fun. Turn one forest, Llanowar Elves, turn two forest,, play two more llanowar elves, turn three, a orochi leafcaller a llanowar augur and a final llanowar elves. turn four play a mountain, turn five, play a moutain, and then this guy, with the other two in my hand. Then turn six, i play two Might of Oaks, play another Augur sacrifice both and then Grandeur both Tarox in my hand for a grand finale of a 96/92 with trample, flying, and haste. What fun! Either way with multiples of this guy its awesome. Either way with enough mana, an Llanowar Augur and another Tarox and Might of Oaks in your hand you still got a 28/26 with trample, flying, and haste into play. Just trust me. Its good. -- By Anonymous from In front of his computer on July 11, 2007 |

I don't know about this one. How often are you going to be able to use his gradeur ability? And is it worth using a card to find his brother to do that? I think of a good flyer for 5 is Serra Angel/sphinx. And they take 3 colorless instead of 2. And that combo sounds ok, but a 1/1 flyer would put a sorry rain on the parade. -- By Patrick from The Shire, NH on November 21, 2007 |

Tarox + Weird Harvest anyone? Instant kill. -- By Carsten from Norway on December 29, 2007 |

It is a decent card, but it is very difficult to base a really good deck around. I do have it in a red/blue deck, and it does get used, but only as a quick summon when I'm in a pinch. -- By Eddie Maloid from Virginia Beach, Virginia on February 02, 2008 |
