**** Excellent card, a little weak as a 2/2, but it's got flash and cand be used to counter/delay spells or bounce permanents back to your oponents hand. Even though it's legedary, if your in a situation were you need a counter spell and all you got is Venser and you already have one in play, you can still use it as a counterspell, but you will lose both Vensers of course.

***** i think venser may be the best blue combo card ever! just pairing him with momentary blink is good enough, but what if you, say, threw him in a deck full of creatures that reacted to the blink, like loxodon hierarch, or mystic snake? try it and see what happens. rock on!
