Fooly Cooly! Fooly Cooly! FOOLY COOLY!

This six episode Japanese series is set in the fictional and "boring" Japanese suburb of Mabase. There Nandaba Naota, his father, and grandfather run a family bakery inside their home. Day in and day out Nandaba goes to school, puts up with the sexually frustrated girlfriend of his brother (whom is in America playing baseball), and goes home. The daily frustration of life would be coming to an abrupt end when he is ran over by a Vespa driven by a free spirit known as Haruko. She then becomes his housekeeper and much more to him but is not what she appears to be.

The series is sporadically ran on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim.

Takkun is the name that Mamimi Samejima seemingly gives this name to people and things that she comes into contact with. Takkun is a kitten that would need help and care and she takes it upon herself to do so, until (like everything else) she leaves after the first hint of independence.
