One of the best supplemental books for Champions. You get not only a history and "how-to-use" section on a new group of alien mutants, but examples that your characters might run into, plus a couple of adventure ideas for campaign level use of the Blood as a whole. Incredibly easy to implement into your game, without giving you a blow by blow adventure. Then, you also get a service that every aspiring hero needs - a gadget and vehicle design firm, capable of outfitting your characters for when they need to spend those experience points! (Admit it, you've wondered where all the regular comic book heroes really get their toys, right?) Included with this section is also the various people you will meet at the company, as well as a couple of minor adventure layouts that involve them, or can be used to ingratiate your characters to the man in charge. The entire book is well designed and aimed at giving the game master source material and some fun characters to play with in their campaigns. The artwork is nice, although at times somewhat simplified and anime influenced. These aren't adventures, so the game master has to work from the ground up if they want to use all of this, but the feeling is nice, a mix of old horror movies and science fiction novels. It fleshes very well into most Champions universes. I know I've used my copy for a long time, and am not likely to retire it any time soon.
