Players are ice fishing Inuits.
Players punch holes through the ice (A4 paper) and fish for various sized steel balls (fish). Large steel balls (big fish) are worth more than small steel balls (small fish). The person with the most points at the end of the game wins.
Set-up:
Bearings are put into the bottom of the game box. A4 paper is sandwiched between two layers of ice (heavy stock with punched holes) and placed to cover the inside of the box. The box is then mixed up so that the steel balls are randomly distributed into the various fishing holes.
Play:
Players roll two dice on each turn. One for actions (move, hack open an hole, fish, your choice) and one for temperature (melt ice flow, refreeze flow, freeze over fishing hole, defreeze fishing hole). Game ends when one person has 15 steel balls or each flow has a fishing hole. |
