I can't believe that no one has written a review of this card so far! It has so many uses play it when you dont have the manna to play big creatures or use it with rude awakening and you can get alot of creatures or manna. 
Doubling cube can do interesting things, but it's use as mana acceleration for X spells is of dubious value. In order for the Cube to actually do anything. it needs to have at least 7 mana to work with. I would rather focus on fixed value spells, like Char or Lightning Helix, which tend to be more efficient than X spells. Still, there's always Demonfire. Your Rights :
