This is a great card for most all black decks excellent in any reacursion/living death/raise dead type decks also usfull in beatdown decks to keep your creature advandage by not allowing to let opponents to keep there creatures in play by having each creature of yours take out one of theirs for sure if just that, decks that sack creatures will find this great giving them a bonus effect for sacking a creature. GOT TO LOVE DIS CARD -- By Derek Gabreski from Warren, PA USA on April 20, 2001 |

This card is great when using Phyrexian Plaguelord and a card that put tokens into play (Goblin Marshal, Breeding pit...). -- By Anonymous from Cascais,Portugal on December 05, 2002 |

THIS CARD IS AWESOME!!! Make no mistake about it this card is and asset to any deck with black in it. My ultimate black self reanimation deck revolves around this and Kabahal Ghoul, which is another killer card. Have this card in your black deck and you'll be sure to make your opposition just the slightest bit aggrevated -- By Ben Lampron from Warner, NH USA on December 17, 2002 |

Great combo I use: Grave Pact + Attrition. -- By Matt from Hunlock Creek, PA USA on January 03, 2003 |

A strong tool for aggro-control this is a perfect card for any black based deck that sends large numbers of creatures to the graveyard. In the current Standard environment (Onslaught, Legions, Scouge, Mirrodin, 8th) this thing has is natural partner with cards like Festering Goblin, Phyrexian Plaguelord, Solemn Sacrilum, and Rotlung Reanimator, not to mention the all important Oversold Cemetary, which allows you to recur you creatures and maintain complete control. Perfect partner color: green. -- By random scrub from on October 07, 2003 |

Brings back the days of the old Mortuary/Grave Pact/Stronghold Assassin combo. Cooler artwork. It is because of this card I build black kill your creature decks... -- By Kyle from Jacksonville, AL on September 05, 2007 |

Works excellent with anything that generates tokens. I use Bitterblossom to make tokens, chump block with them and make my opponent sac a creature. Works well with Auntie's Snitch as well. Attack with Snitch + Faerie rogue flier, Snitch goes to graveyard, opponent sacrifices a creature, Faerie rogue does damage, bring snitch back to hand, play it for prowl, repeat next turn. -- By Wesley from Huntsville, AL USA on February 12, 2008 |
