***** Right here ladies and gentlemen, is the ultimate counter to any planeswalker. Every sideboard should have four. I hope this kills the mind sculptor.

**** Dreadnought's ability is a triggered one, not activated, so this will not work in place of Stifle.

-- By Jim from Madison, WI on April 23, 2010

**** Could this be used as a cheap Stifle? If yes then it's a good substitute when playing Phyrexian Dreadnaught

-- By Alucard from Olean, NY on April 04, 2010

* disenchant, naturalize, krosan grip, creeping mold, oblivion ring, bant charm, fracturing gust, putrefy, natures claim, ancient grudge, shatter, shattering spree, shattering pulse, filigree fracture, smash to smithereens, relic crush, artifact mutation, rack and ruin , sundering vitae, mogg salvage... should I go on? this is to easy dealt with and not very good anyway.

-- By Mark N from Marshfield, Wisconsin on March 25, 2010

**** The Saviors edition costs more because that's it's original print. It's almost as if why is a Black Lotus from Alpha more expensive than the Beta or Unlimited versions. Original prints tend to cost more since that was the first printing of it.

-- By IanNoel from Chicago, IL USA on February 22, 2010

***** Great Card, but WHY IS THE SAVIOR EDITION SO MUCH PRICIER THAN THE M10 ?? It's ridiculous...

-- By Anonymous from T1 Land CA on August 02, 2009

***** can you say , goodbye figure of destiny

-- By dave from ringwood NJ on April 28, 2009

***** The ability is almost as good as Meddling Mage, but for 1 mana I would say it is on the same level of super awsome. You can stop a lot of powerful strategies such as Grindstone, Planeswalkers, and Psycatogs.

-- By Anonymous from Toronto on February 03, 2009

* of course this is like the best sideboard card ever. it's in most of the top legacy sideboards. that means it's gotta be good...stops planewalkers and a *lot* of other stuff. yeah, it's an artifact, but it costs 1. shattering spree is the only card that immediately comes to mind to destroy this. so there's pretty much no argument that it's great. now here's the bad part: if you're not pretty serious, you'll never get a playset of these. It kind of brings up the multivault issue: obviously amazing, but impossible to get.

-- By Greg from here on January 19, 2009

**** pretty good....stops the plainswalkers. and sneak attack. and for only 1....makes i awsome.

-- By John Holder from unknown on November 27, 2008

***** This is good, but very limited. I'd play a single copy as a silver bullet main deck with a deck with 3 or 4 trinket mages.

-- By Duke DemonKnight from hellesville, Hellatia on May 29, 2008

**** It's an excellent for a sideboard, but it can't stop everything. The colossus would still be indestructible, since that is a static ability, not an activated one. Despite being limited to only activated abilities, if you know what cards your opponent is going to be playing, it is amazing. Can shut down a combo deck all by itself.

-- By Anonymous from PA on March 03, 2007

***** This card can really stab you in the neck!

-- By Maxx from KY on February 03, 2007

*** i only rate this a tad low for this reason: artifacts are easily destroyed. not bad to say the least anyways

-- By luca fregusy from nice, france on November 19, 2006

**** It is a good card, no arguments, however to make it more efective you'd need more than four in a deck. Kidding, four in a deck is plenty, but think about throwing in some sculpting steels, copy artifacts and copy enchantments, you would have 16 of these bad boys in play, need I say more? I also have one that I don't want and can't get rid of.

-- By Nick Tucker from Raleigh, NC USA on October 04, 2006

***** THIS CARD IS AWESOME!

-- By Anonymous from Atlanta, GA on June 30, 2006

*** Eh, sucks against Beatdown. Probably want to put it in your own beatdown deck, like with Rumbling Slum and Burning Tree Shaman.

-- By Lord of the Dragons from USA on March 28, 2006

***** THIS IS A GREAT CARD STOPS ABILITIES THAT ANY CARD WOULD HAVE BUT WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF YOU CHOSE DARKSTEEL COLOSSUS WOULD IT CEASE TO BE INDESTRUCTIBLE? OR IF YOU RUN INTO A CARD THAT'S UNTARGETABLE.

-- By GAARA OF THE SAND from THE SAND on February 23, 2006

***** This is probably the best card to come out of the kamigawa block, shuts of jitte, shuts off meloku, shuts off psychatog and pernnicous deed - even sakura tribe elder ... this card does it all. Someone made a comment of using it to get around drawbacks of your own cards - which i dont see how that works, activated abilities consist of paying a cost to 'activate' them, wether it be tapping or paying life... so i'm pretty sure it cant get around any of your cards with drawbacks, just thought i would clear that up for everyone. Anyway, awesome card, play with them - im sure they can make your opponent hate you.

-- By Steven Perez from USA on February 12, 2006

***** should I say psychatog?, I bet I should

-- By temok from zamora, mich mex on January 02, 2006

**** Not only can you use this on your opponents, but you can eliminate the downside of some of your cards

-- By Sage of the Order from Order headquarters on November 24, 2005

***** At the unbeliveably low cost of (1), this is simply the best way to shut down a deck that revolves around a powerful card. Alternatively, it can be used in the early-game to slow your opponent down. No draw backs at all, and no excuses not to have any in your deck.

-- By cryptor_00 from somewhere nearby on September 22, 2005

**** A good side deck card

  -- By Thelonius from Barcelona,Spain on August 20, 2005

***** this card can stop even the best deck strategies. this is one of the best without questions

-- By pyroboy from Jeffersonville, IN USA on July 20, 2005

***** I definately have to get 4 of these, its not a legend, and its only one mana. You can cripple someones decks with this, some decks revolve around a certian ability, or card, this halts it.

-- By Billy from Maryland on July 03, 2005

***** This card rocks! You just name one of their cards and it is screwed!
