***** ....Wow. Found a new staple for my 'animate wall' deck! Hell, even little ornithopters and phyrexian walkers own now.... Daaaamn, then think of 'Shield shpere'

***** Great card! :D I play 4 of them in my treefolk deck, great when unstoppable ash is out :) and of course timber protector, murmuring bosks get it out on turn 2 minimum :) happens alot for me

***** This card+ a hero's resolve= a 10 damage dealer for a total of only 5 mana. Or throw hero's resolve on a little 1/1 weenie of yours and he become a 6 damage dealer.

***** Doran makes any extended deck question their 1/2, 2/3 or 4/5 creatures. Deckbuilding does have to at least question the Doran factor.

***** great card. Animate wall is a 7/7 wall for 3 mana and is great. But a 7/7 for a grand total of 4 is unheard of. only thing is you would need to splash blue along with white black and green but for most decent multi color decks it shouldnt be a problem. also gotta love nerfing a nova elemental. oh you have a 10/2. wait nvm you only have a 2/2. makes big early threats useless due to a normally low toughness but high power. blistering firecat is another nerfed by his ability. your 7/1 trample just became a 1/1 trample. there are dozens of ways to use this card effectively. just think of all the white cards that pump up toughness. well now they are pumping power also. amazing card.

***** I think this card is great just get this out and play glacial wall for 3 mana a 7/7 is great for three mana only drawback is its a wall

***** Turn 1: Birds of paradise from murmuring bosk. Turn 2: Virtually any land, Doran. Common plays in standard for a while. Although blind sighted by faeries, don't forget how powerful a turn 2 5/5 can be. Still a force to be reckoned with, even in extended. Fear the tree.

***** wow...it's a 3 mana 5/5...that makes your opponents' 2/1's do...1! In a treefolk deck (I guess in any deck..) If you start out with a Forest or something Forest-like, a Swamp or something Swamp-like, and a Plains or something Plains-like (Caves of Koilos) and a Treefolk Harbinger, pus some other good stuff, then play a first turn Harbinger, fetch another one. Next turn, draw the 2nd, play a swamp/plains and the Harbinger, get another one, 3rd turn: draw the 3rd one, play it to fetch one last Harbinger, play a Plains...4th Turn: Draw the last harbinger play it and get a Doran. On your fifth turn you have 4 3/3's in effect and a 5/5! Better yet if you play Timber Protector, somewhere in there...you've pretty much won especially if you play TWO Timber Protectors and Wrath of God...xD

***** This card is amazing with Llanowar Augur. She is a 0/3 for one mana and if you sac her she gives a target creature +3/+3 and trample. But I mean a 3/3 for one mana... Well you need doran too lol :]

-- By Tony from Encinitas, California USA on January 29, 2008

***** This card i think is i think is under rated by a grip.. its basically a 5/5 for 3 and makes cards like tarmogoyf stronger and makes cards like ohran viper a 1/3 a 3/3 deathtoch , draw card if it hits ya... hence why this card was in worlds.... defenitely a playable card

-- By Cory from Kokomo, Indiana on December 26, 2007

**** This is as close to a 5/5 as you're going to get. And it works well with the other treefolk with high toughness but low power (*cough* most of them *cough*). It make treefolk harbinger A LOT better.
