Harbingers are awesome in general searching for ANY elf (see: eyeblight or perfect or any other AWEsome elf) and this one is even better because it then turns into a mana source, great for the tribals with mana of any color. A staple for any elf player.

This is a great card for any Elf deck. This could help you dominate your opponents even more. One of the creatures you would most want to have in your deck for this effect would be Wellwisher (tap it and gain one life for in Elf IN PLAY!)

I like it a lot. It comes down on turn 2 off of a Lanowar Elves 2/3 of the time, and fetches me a turn 3 Imperious Perfect, pumping it up to a 2/3, which isn't bad at all. However, a 1/2 on its own is pretty terrible, and without Perfects to pump it or Lanowar Elves to help it come out earlier, it's marginal. But manipulating your draws is very nice, especially in an Elf deck, and a very good mana ability to go with it certainly helps...I'm not rly sure if it's 3 or 4 stars...4 i guess.

In conjunction with a Tel Jilad Stylus, it can be a very nice card.
