Light Yagami proves that the pen is mightier than the sword. With his notebook any name he writes down will die and with this power comes idea's. He wants to rid his world of the crime and spite in order to become himself "the god of the new world."

Rem is a shinigami, similar to Ryuk in the Death Note series. Misa receives her death note and powers from Rem after Jealous is killed saving Misa's life. Rem takes upon the love that Jealous had for Misa and vows to protect her no matter the cost.
