Tsubasa:Reservoir Chronicle or aka Chronicle of the Wings is a manga series that is printed by Clamp and shown the Shonen Magazine. The story was picked up and turned into an anime by Bee Train and aired 52 episodes.

Clow Country is ruled by the King Toya and his sister the princess Sakura. Sakura is revealed to have powers to see a unknowing symbol and places she has never see before. At the same time Sakura's childhood friend Syaoran (young archaeologist) finds the same symbol at the ruins he is excavating. When Sakura stands on the same symbol on the ground she begins to grow wings and is pulled towards the walls but is rescued before being pulled in. Her wings are scattered across dimensions. When it is realized her "wings" were manifested from her soul and memories and that she will die without them Syaoran must journey after them.
