We didn't think a 'cooperative' game would be much fun - we're a competitive bunch of goons - but this has become a favorite in our group, even with those who generally aren't big on board games. A bit complex to set up the first time you play it, but not terribly hard to learn once you figure out the logic of it. LOVE the ability to significantly change the challenge level (for three people the medium challenge level is pretty darned hard to beat - can't imagine using all the epidemic cards!) Highly recommended - remember to get the expansion pack if there are more than 4 players!
