One of the best at the pre-relaese almost all the people who won were running this deck wither and persist are amazing. The murderous redcap is creature removal and direct damage and the kulrath knight gives black a pacifism of sorts that it has been needing for years All round probably the most sought after at the pre-release had a guy follow me trying to trade me decks!

This deck really is a great mix of red and black. There is just enough quick creatures and spells to establish an early dominance and some big hitters to finish the job. I played this deck at a sahdowmoor pre-con tourny and won 5 out of 6 matches.

A great deck for casual gamers. Some not so good cards, but after a few tweaks, it can be a very effective deck.

i finally found a match for my friend's evil thallid deck! with wither and bowfly infestation, you're enemies' creatures can't survive. add a few dual lands and some red/black mana artifacts and this deck is pretty formidable.

This is a pretty good deck with a good balance of offense and control. I think it still needs some touch-ups, extra kulrath knights would help really well. If you can combine this with the Mortal Coil deck of the same block, they can become a devastating combo.
