A very aggressive card that demands to be built around. Its "drawback" is actually a great way to keep up tempo. Unfortunately, it does require special preparation in deck builds to avoid stalls. -- By Topher from Eau Claire, WI on February 13, 2008 |

The card speaks for itself. I honestly can't believe that they printed such a strong card.
p.s. Don't play this card too fast. You could lose him before ever getting to attack, or your opponent might turn him against you by destroying your lands. -- By Anonymous from USA on February 19, 2008 |

This is a great card. I give it a 4/5 because if not prepared for the drawback is crippling in the metagame. I have 3 words to say. Crucible of Worlds -- By Max Walters from USA on February 22, 2008 |

It took me a minute to realize why this card is so good. It's a great way to rid land from your hand late game and draw something useful and on top of that the creature is also a decent attacker or blocker, your choice. -- By Cleveland from Cleveland on March 13, 2008 |

Awesome on paper, but in a competitive environment it usually doesn't have the chance to do anything more than soak up some form of removal. Every removal spell in standard right now takes this guy down with no problems. He is best used in RDW or sligh type decks after you run out of gas and have soaked up most of their removal already. Never play on turn 3. Ever. -- By Me from your closet on July 04, 2008 |
