simply amazing. I've gotten this guy out on turn two before (turn 1 birds of paradise, turn 2 bosk banneret) and on turn three, the top card of my library was another one! Twice the fun!

The Elder makes Shaman/Treefolk decks go absolutely nuts. It's kindof broken, having 5 toughness where it should not have been more than a mere Hill Giant. I recommend this as a must add to any tribal deck that makes use of lots of Treefolk, Shamans, or both.

a potentially strong card that can get out of control if not checked. however the card is only useful in a narrow range of decks and will not likely see constructed play outside of block and standard.
