Shadowmoor is an expansion set released on May 2nd, 2008 for Magic: The Gathering. Shadowmoor is the first set of the new "Shadowmoor" block. This set includes 4 new mechanics; Conspire, Persist, Untap and Wither.
No, it's not a Demonic Tutor, and yes, you have to reveal the card, but still! Beseech the Queen is awesome, allowing you to tutor up anything you can afford to play. Also, it's faster (cheaper) than the Diabolic Tutor, which means that the mono black deck will be able to search for answers sooner, and will be left with more mana open to use on other spells.
In a multicoloured deck featuring black, Diabolic Tutor seems better than Beseech the Queen, but one of the things that makes this card beautiful is that it's compatible with every color! Imagine using this card in a mono white or mono green deck? - even though it's expensive, it's still pretty neat.

Oh, who doesn't love tutor cards? It's a cheap and very versatile Type II search card, that not only belongs in any black library, but can be run in any library... period. I love how Shadowmoor just abuses the colors so much, like with Elsewhere Flask.
