this may be a dumb question, but can you sacrifice it to itself if you run out of other creatures?

wow. two of these plus 2 creakwood lieges equals 2 14/14s, and *10* life a turn. ...yeah. these are priced so low for two reasons: 1, it costs 7 mana. that's a lot. and 2, without something like creakwood liege, it kind of eats up your card advantage. I'm just saying. it's still an awesome card.

Wow, I'm gonna have to pick a few of these guys up. A dollar??!?!?! Sign me up! I agree with the poster above me, the artwork is awesome. That poor little guy in the bottom left, he's done for :(

Heheh.. I quillspike/devoted druided and ate it with Doomgape to gain a trillion health.. Amazing card in any creature black/green combo deck. In my deck, I almost alway have 7 land by the fourth turn, and I usually have out a quillspike and devoted druid by then.. My deck has the quill/D.D./Flourishing Defenses combo and the Grim Poppet x2/Flourishing Defenses Combo, and if I dont get one of those out, I almost always have 2 Flourishing Defenses and then I play soul snuffer which puts -1/-1 counters on all of their creatures and gets a ton under my control, and that is usually enough to swamp them down with 1/1 elves.

Yeah, great card. I bought the precon and actually have not been able to play it. Bad Luck I guess. However It is brilliant, sacrifice a creature for lifegain, 10/10 trample. However I love the artwork with the little guy in the bottom left corner. Lol.

It's aggravating when it's put on the field. But I want it. :D

Great with Rite of Consumption and Mercy Killing. "I trample over your finks for 8. Good? Rite of Consumption that." "..."
