Planeswalker: Ajani Vengeant
Ever since Magic the Gathering was first released in 1993, the game was meant to represent two clashing wizards doing battle. It wasn't until the release of Lorwyn in late 2007, that this concept became tangible, as the card type, Planeswalker. Planeswalkers are the embodiment of the player, powerful mages that spend their lifetimes traveling the multiverse and learning new spells.

Planeswalkers in Play:
Planeswalkers are played at sorcery speed and come into play with a number of loyalty counters on them, found at the bottom right of the card where a creatures power/toughness is located. Since they are not creatures, they cannot attack or block, instead planeswalkers have abilities that you can activate once per turn. Each ability can either generate or cost loyalty counters. A Planeswalker can be attacked and it takes damage by losing loyalty counters, when the planeswalker reaches zero loyalty counters the card is placed in the graveyard as a state-based effect.

Why you should use this card:
This card has control written all over it. Still only costing four, only splashing red in the mix, this guy is all about annoying your opponent. His gain ability lets you keep a permanent tapped down during your opponents next untap step. His second ability is similar to Ravnica's Lightning Helix dealing three damage to creature or player, and gaining three life. His final ability is basically a targeted Armageddon . Destroy all your opponents lands and its an easy street to victory.

***** ajani in my opinion is the best new planeswalker other than the jaces but he is amazing in type 2 naya builds

***** Got land? Thats right one of the most powerful cards in the game, and all it does is tap a land, but after a few short turns you lose all your lands, which is game. However he does have a downside, hes hard to come by xD

***** They would never give you a Tezzeret, if you payed between $20 and $25 to enter and got a Tezzeret and pulled a decent rare, you'd just be making money (Tezzerets are like $22). I pulled a Tezzeret yay! This is pretty awesome though...it's the perfect planeswalker; most planeswalkers die b4 they use their big ability, but this one stops one of their creautres from untapping and attacking ur ajani again. it also burns the ones that can untap and gains you even more life than it already it is since ur opponent is attacking it instead of you! unfortunately, its an ajani...which means that you cant play the vengeant and the goldmane at the same time~~ which is why the 4 stars. other than that...the perfect planeswalker! (im splashing for it in *all* my decks that have red or white xD) and im sure that at least 1/3 of the top 10 at any given grand prix or world tour that run red or white will run this...thats how powerful it is...
