**** Has to be the best Vanilla creature in all of magic, well maybe except Leatherback Baloth and of course Isamaru, Hound of Konda; depends on how many colors you want to run I guess. There's a reason why this is a staple in pretty much every Legacy Zoo deck, out of Bolt range, 5/4 for 3CMC is like running a budget version of Goofie at a little loss of tempo, Cool artwork, and it works with the above mentioned "Shadowmoor" auras'.

***** This card is just plain awesome! I like to combo this guy with a few enchantments from the Shadowmor set like Sheild of the Oversoul. Thats a 7/6 flying indestructable on turn 4! Or if you really want to ruin someones day slap Runes of the Deus on him making him 7/6 tample and double strike. Like I said awesome.

***** what is going on here? this guy is a bargain without doubt......dear lord this is an insane 3rd turn and yes, 2nd turn drop calls for emergency .....better call dreadnought to block if you want something to live! An early tarmogoyf will probably die from thoctar unless there are 5 cards types in the yard .... Not likely early, but possible ....

***** In my opinion this is one of the best turn 3 cards, ever made. This is one of my prized creatures to play in my beast deck, and I would recommend anyone using it if they runnin a G/W/R colors. This card, is , lawl so good.

**** Ouch! Back in the day we used to think that Juggernaut was awesome but this puts him to shame. It's like a Juzam djinn for Naya decks. Personally I think it is overpowered. It would be fair at 5/3 for RGW. With greens multimana producing capabilities he is also more splashable than most tricolor gold cards.

***** I love this card. Probably irrationally. One of my favorite plays: turn one: forest, noble hierarch turn two: mountain, wooly thoctar turn three: forest, qasali pridemage, swing with 7/6 thoctar (throw in colossal might for kicks even) and yeah, of course, the person could path to exile/terror but you ALWAYS run that risk with anything with out shroud. 7 dmg turn 3 is pretty sweet and if you drop knight of new alara turn 4, thats a 10/9 thoctar. A very smooth curve into some insane damage and very doable. You can even add redundancy with BoP/Hierarch and Doran/Thoctar and Pridemage/other exalted two drops. Great for the casual table, fun for FNM and decent for the 'serious' events. So grab some thoctars and slap some beef down on the table.
