**** If you're playing a R/G aggro deck, I find this guy to be better than ball lightning. Our ball friend costs RRR, while this guy is RR1; it makes quite a difference if you're playing a deck that isn't loaded with stomping grounds/wooded foothill/rootbound crag/taiga. It has flying to make up for it's weaker power, unearth, and the 4 toughness provides protection from a 1/1 first striker, volcanic fallout, pingers, and other nuisances.

**** yaay it's an elemental! its going straight into my elemental deck...the flying is almost as good as trample but against faeries, which are awesome, it always gets blocked by bitterblossom tokens which sucks...a lot...the unearth cost is also a little pricey for most decks (aka decks w/o smokebraiders), if it was one less im sure it would be even more popular...and expensive...but i like it.

***** Yes, it dies at the end of the turn it is cast, but 3 mana for a 4/4 flying RED haster with Unearth is an extremely good creature for red. Not to mention it is also an elemental which have gotten an absurd amount of love lately.

**** The flying is not as good as trample but the Unearth makes this interesting. Can it be as good as Ball Lightning? Probably not. A great card for Red aggro, though.

**** I think this has to be the best red card in shards of alara. a 4/4 flying haster for 3 mana Plus recursion. Even though it lacks trample, the flying is just as good.
