A relatively plain paint job keeps this miniature below five-star rating, but great sculpting makes it worthy of four.
For those not familiar with the monster, the picture doesn't do this miniature justice. What looks like a funny mask is an entire creature that has enveloped its host's head and is riding on its host's back. The arms are barely visible, and to see the tail you have to know what you're looking at. From the back, the rider stands wonderfully out as a separate entity.
A fascinating and recommended addition to a collection.
