This Gengar is one of the strongest in history for the meta in exists in. Gengar's shadow room ablity allows it to snipe any pokemon on a bench for at least 30 (60 if it has pokepowers) and most pokemon that are important right now do have pokepowers. He can spam this move while your opponent despritly tries to knock him out, only to have thier primary attacker destroyed by a winning fainting spell. The power of winning you a free prize 50% of the time is one of the reasons that anyone with gastlys in a deck should also run this Gengar. Oh, and the shadow room is a 1 energy attack, which is amazing. Then there is the truely awesome poltergiest. An attack that can devistate even the greatest pokemon out there. Doing damage for just about every nonpokemon in their hand can devistate so many games. Even more so if they draw multiple stadiums, you have trainer lock, and they can only play one supporter a turn. Gengar is absurdly good.

A great metagame card. One of the best cards out there.
