Still one of the best itachis out there. He is amazing, but GIG is making it's way into a lot of fire decks today. It really depends on your build, but this itachi still has many uses.

This card is from the latest series "Approaching wind". This Itachi Uchiha also has a great effect.

This itachi is by far one of the best ones so far just because he's a turn less and has ambush. He can easily appear on turn three and close the game up fast. Also his ability is great when you want to pick off head ninjas or jutsu being played by them....him combined with orochimaru[prescence] is almost always deadly.
