This card is freakin great! I was playing an extented deck with birds of paradise on the field and a jitte equipped to it, i was swinging for 5 in the air ever turn! Great card but idk if it is better than birds, really depends on the deck.

Yeah... a friend of mine just used this against me, two games in a row. This, plus non-basic lands and mana producing artifacts helped him get out cards like Child of Alara and other wicked cards in about four turns.

indeed it did. birds of paradise too, probably...not in jund or naya but most of the time...you see what i'm saying. i'm not gonna get into why this is probably the absolute best one-drop in magic, but...let's say this: birds of paradise now swings for 1!
