*** A pretty good big brother to Arcanite Magician, but simply fails in comparison. Arcanite Magician can be used in virtually any deck running Summoner Monk while this guy can't really be run in many decks at all. His effect is very good, especially with the Magical Citadel, but doesn't make that much of a difference.

***** So far there are only 2 Assault Mode monsters truly worth using, the 2 being Stardust, which is usable in just about any build, and this very card, and only in a spellcaster build focusing on spell counter build up.The ability to destroy the whole opponents side of the field is absolutely amazing, and it only gets stronger with more spell counters, however because of the cost coming from the card itself, as opposed to anywhere on the field (like the regular synchro) I personally reccomend it gets loaded up with counters before the destruction effect is used. Nice cards to use with this would be "Spell Power Grasp"(From the new spellcaster deck coming soon), or "Pitch-Black Power Stone".

***** This card is pretty powerful by itself, but with the SD16 coming its power is only growing.
