This card was great already, and now with the introduction of Xyz monsters, it only gets better.

Ever heard of 10 Star Synchro in one turn? It's called pulling Armageddon, and then sending Plaguespreader.

Virtually unlimited possibilities for this card. Works great in a royal decree Synchro deck, as well as many lockdowns or most any synchro deck as well. Perfect dragon synchro summoner.

Chris... no.

This card has unlimited potential, it pulls ANY level four:
This could be Volcanic Rocket, which then would let you search for Blaze or Tri-Blaze
It could be a Stratos, whose effect would also activate
It could be Flamvell Magician, Mist Valley Soldier, Debris Dragon, Road Synchron (which then could be treated as level four or two immediately)

unlimited potential.

Summoner Monk, despite a dumb name, (It should be Summoner Priest!) is a HUGE benefit to nearly any deck that runs off of monster effects. He can help Gladiator Beasts by bringing another out, counter decks by getting Freed, Artemis, or Rai-Oh out... And for any deck that has synchro functionality, he's practically a summoner of any 8 star dragon. Assuming someone has Blackwing - Gale, Rose - Warrior of Revenge, and in some cases, Hyper Synchron, you can grab stardust/red archfiend really early in the game... And stardust can be a bit difficult to stop early on, especially with no setup. Almost every deck should consider side-decking this card.

This should hit the banlist. I can't imagine it staying off with all the new 4 star tuners coming.

This card is hyped up beyond belief. It can be pretty good, but restricting its effect to only a level 4 instead of levle 4 or lower makes it lose a star. Also, it has to be a Spell Card that is discarded, so it loses one more. However, it earns a star for its Total Defense Shogun effect that automatically switches it to def. mode, providing defense and a good effect. It's a Spellcaster, which helps, and it's DARK, which is almost never a problem.
