Putting a card directly onto the battlefield is a very powerful effect. Being able to handpick that card out of your library is just obscene. Some hidden uses for this card include leaving X at zero and putting the land of your choice into play (even nonbasic land, and even if you've already played a land this turn), and getting enchantments onto creatures with shroud (yes, that works - since you're not casting the enchantment as a spell, it never needs to target the shrouded creature).
