Struggle for the Galactic Empire is a solitaire game that puts the player in charge of the forces of the Galactic Empire, tasked with keeping order and maintain galactic control against the forces that would attempt to subvert it.

The player builds up their forces across the galaxy using combat and colonization ships. A unique concept in the game is the ability for loyalties to change depending on the situation, so friends can become enemies and enemies can become friends.
