**** This card is a must in any deck with black. It can simply silence any creature. Whoop Whoop!

**** What about artifact creatures that regenerate? *gasp* Still, it's hard to choose between this and terror.

**** terror vs this card is a tough choice. terror allows for no regeneration, whereas this doesn't, but terror wont let you kill artifact creatures. and honestly, i'm more "terrorized" by artifact creatures over creatures that can regen. doom blade wins.

**** this cards is very strong......yes bury or not regen'n is the same thing, BUT terror said bury target non black non ARTIFACT creature. This card doom blade can "destroy" an artifact guy. The most common and some very strong artifact creatures in vintage (i can tell ya) are Phyrexian dreadnought and mishra's factory. This can wack'm both when a terror can't legally target either!

*** Terror has always been a card able to dispose of creatures with regeneration, as far as I know, the same does not go for Doom blade. Terror clearly specifies that creatures with regeneration cannot regenerate. The card did so when it was first released in the beginning, it does so now, and early in Magic, if I am not mistaken, the term "Bury" was used on cards that killed creatures and designated that they could not regenerate, just as terror says if you have a forth and also perhaps fifth edition version of the card. So in short, unless cleared up otherwise, it seems that Terror can kill creatures that can regenerate whereas Doom blade cannot. If I am wrong about this someone please clear this up, because I quit playing Magic roughly seven or eight years ago and have only just a few months ago began playing again.
