Out of the pack 3/4 was basically vintage. Red, blue, and white held the majority. There were a few rares and foils thrown in. If you don't mind tons of commons that could be from the current core set to vintage, this is a nice buy. Don't expect much.

Buyer beware! I purchased this and wish i did not, i expected there to be several duplicates of the same cards but i had 50+ duplicates of over 5 different cards. I don't know what i am going to do with 109 Merfolk Looter cards.

I have to admit, I didn't have the highest expectations for this item. I bought it for a friend of mine that is just learning how to play. I figured that he would get a few usable cards out of this, but imagined that it would be a huge card dump of worthless cards and overwhelming duplicates. I couldn't have been more wrong. There were about 10-15 rares, a handful of foils, none of them great. That's to be expected. I was extremely impressed with the large number of uncommons however. The rest of the box was top notch. Troll and Toad obviously took the time to get a good mixture of cards from different editions, different colors, and different card types. There were some duplicates of more than 4, but they were all decent usable cards. Most of the cards were from the new sets which is fine. If you've been out of the game for a while or you are just starting, this is one heck of a jumpstart to get you back into it. Also, if this is an indication of what customer service means to Troll and Toad, you can add me to the list of now fiercely loyal customers. Thank you.

A three star review solely because it was more than 1000 cards. Sadly there were only 10 rares (9 red 1 green) but there were 213 uncommon (112 were blue and not a single black) and 64 foreign common cards. Here's the kicker, there were 933 common cards (over 400 were green, but only 40 or so black cards in the entire box) so a total of 1220 cards for nearly 30 dollars (shipping included) breaking down to nearly 2.4 cents per card... not too unreasonable.

Bought one box of these and (2) 800 count boxes, Very disappointed with the 800 they were all from the same set. Now I have about 36 copies of all of the commons in that set. This batch of 1000 cars was pretty good. Nothing spectaular, but all english, a few dozen of old cards, i think I even got on Alpha in NM condition. Most cards were from newer sets. Dozen or so foils. no basic lands. about 50 - 100 uncommons and a hand full of rares. I recommend spending a few extra bucks for this one over the 800 magic cards. Price is up from the last time I bought, so now cards were about 1.7 cents each. Still a good deal. All in all, pleased.

I got around 300 japanese, spanish, german, and some other language cards out of this. I got 25 of like 8 or nine different cards. The rares were nice out of one pack and the other one was kinda horrible. All in all, i would of prefered to get at least something different than 30-40 of Consume Soul. It's nice if you use it to get 30 copies of a card for a store, but if not, you'll be selling this for pennies or quarters.

I've been buying cards in bulk for the past few months from different sites. The box I recieved was awesome. It was a very good mix of cars, almost even between colors, artifacts, and land. Yes, Land was included, but at 1.3 cents a card, I think it was a good deal. I also purchased the penny a card from T&T, the week before. Compaired to that box, this one was MUCH better, with no more than a few cars with more than 4 of each, and most cards were from the newer sets, vs the penny cards from older sets. I think I gave the penny cards a 4 star rateing, In this box there was also a decient amout of uncommons and rares, with a nice amount of multi-color cards as well, About what I expected, Not tons, but ok. All in all, a very good deal if you need to increase the size of your collection. I WILL buy this again!

I added one of these to my order, and when it arrived I was shocked by the quality of the rares and foils. The random cards were good, but I was disappointed by the number of uncommons (less than 15% of the total). I asked T&T in my order comments to include as many kamigawa cards as they could and THEY DID! The duplications were kept at a minimum (no more than 10 of any one card). I even got an artist signed Galvanic Arc. All in all, a solid purchase and I would recommend it to anyone.

on 1000 cards i got: - 36 different common cards so approx 27 copy each - 10 all different rare - 6 common foil and 4 uncommon foil I think its better to buy 3 or 4 booster pack than this deal

The reason this gets 4 (It would get 4 1/2 if i could give it that) stars instead of five is the amount of duplicates of a few select cards. I got about 25 of "Inside Out"... and also, I did get over 50 Japanese cards. Now hear me out here... Even though there were these few duplicates in the order, I still believe this was an extremely good purchase, at this cheap of a price, even if they all came as basic lands I still would have made a profit. This is a good way for trollandtoad to unload on overstock cards that they can't get rid of any other way. This is also a great way for beginning magic players to get in the game. I have been playing for a good few years, and the cards/assortment I got in this pack have added many valuable things to my collection. Also, the rares and foils that came with this specific assortment were actually way more than I expected. If you're considering ordering this or not i'd say go for it.
