That's right! Troll and Toad brings this great deal to you our valued customers as a way to fill in your collection or build trade fodder. Being that these MTG Rares are cheap and from our overstock, we can make no guarantees, other than you will get the cheapest MTG Rares available online.
At Troll and Toad we pride ourselves on being able to offer you what you want, when you want it, and at a great price, but *duplication may occur and in rare instances cards may be foreign.
The price is right, but there was a ton of duplicates. I purchased 700 rares a couple of months ago (finally getting to a review), and I probably got about 30 each of Triskelion, Necrotic Plague and Wild Evocation. Those were the worst duplicated cards in the lots, but there were quite a few other heavily duplicated cards. I was pretty disappointed in that group of cards to be honest, especially given that I had purchased rare lots in the past on ebay that had a really nice assortments. At that price, I don't expect amazing rares, but there are plenty of "garbage rares" to avoid such heavy duplication. I would have a hard time buying again unless I knew that the assortments would be better.

i have ordered a number of these. i seldom see too much duplication. and you get some very nice cards as well. such as thopter assembly and catapult master. i highly recommend this item.

Got one pack of these cards. Had a lot of different kinds of cards. Though it had 4-6 of a few different cards it's a good deal for the price.

Didn't get any super cool rares that I remember, only one card was 4 dupe, maybe 2 or 3 more were 2 dupe. Good way to get a good mix of rares though. Might buy again. If you want something specific, you're better off with single cards.

I was hesitant to buy this because of the reviews but I took a chance and it paid off big time! I barely had any duplicates and from what duplicates I did get, there were no more than 2 or 3... Tons of different stuff from all ranges of sets. I am very pleased!

I'd say it was okay, but not really that good of a buy. 61 different cards in my set (39 duplications). Most of the duplications weren't more than 4, but I did get 8, 7 and 6 copies of cards. I thought it was a little heavy on the duplications. The cards were ok, but I didn't get anything very good. I'd say they are generally low-rate rares probably roughly equivalent to completely random uncommons.

It was a decent buy. This is great for building trade fodder. I received few duplications. Nothing seriously usable in a deck at first glance but you never know what could be useful.

Let me start by saying the product was very well packaged and arrived promptly. As for the cards themselves they were overall very ~meh~. No uncommons or commons in this lot although one card was actually classified as a “special” rarity. While you expect these lots to be shelf clearing exercises you would also expect a lot of older cards but there were a fair number from the Alara block which has a couple of months of standard left in it as of this writing. Lots of duplicates, some excessively so - 5 Brilliant Ultimatum, 5 Impending Disaster, 6 Spike Hatcher, and 5 Barrin’s Codex - so 5% unusable trade fodder. Only two black cards which given the lot of 100 is rather a disappointing count and one card someone had used as a land stand in with “Mountain” written on it in fat permanent marker – and misspelled which is astounding considering they should have had a basic land card to copy the text from, but I digress. Overall a solid “meh”.

got way too many old artifacts, way too many uncommons, only 5 red cards (4 of which were Ishi Ish, Akki Crackshot), 3 white cards and NO black cards AT ALL. This is in no way random, and don't buy it if you're hoping for a particular color, cause you might not get any. Great if you want a whole bunch of old artifacts that no one in designer in their right mind would put in a rare slot (Aeolipile? Really?). Having said that, it wasn't all bad. got a decent number of good green and blue cards, and some of the old artifacts were playable in casual.

dissapointing number of old UNCOMMON artifacts. Way too many artifacts in general (about 35%). I did get Ulasht, the Hate seed though, which while it isn't very expensive, is a great general for EDH. Don't get your hopes up, you get what you pay for, and it's not too bad of a deal. just wish they had some more colors.
