Worldwake
*Ancient forces begin to awaken, causing the world of Zendikar to wreak havoc upon its inhabitants. This exotic and dangerous world is made even more perilous and yet more attractive to adventurers and Planeswalkers wishing to plunder its treasures.

The new dangers of the moving plane and the shifting Roil has caused new locations to become unearthed and with them new treasures to uncover. Among these treasures both Planeswalkers and adventurers are drawn to the Eye of Ugin, a precursor to the awakening of something formidable.

Worldwake is the second set in the Zendikar cycle and contains a total 145 cards. The set expands and upgrades several key mechanics from Zendikar, Landfall and Kicker. Landfall triggers abilities that respond to land entering the battlefield, generally Landfall is on creatures but in Worldwake, they added Instants with Landfall to mess with your opponent. Kicker is upgraded to Multikicker, a mechanic where you can kick a spell once or multiple times and its effect is duplicated for each Kicker cost paid.

The theme of this is set animated lands and like Zendikar, they have included more full art basic lands! We see the return of the Kor, Vampires, Allies, and Quests as well... But the show stealer of this set is the infamous Jace, the Mind Sculptor. The only Planeswalker printed in Worldwake, Jace, the Mind Sculptor is arguably one of the most powerful Planeswalkers ever printed.
    Contains:
  • 36 Boosters Packs

**** mostly a decent set but i would only ever buy for jace, would make SUCH a huge profit :D unfortunately, at this point, i would bet a mind sculptor this will never be back in stock now :(

***** I got one of these for christmas and it was the most repetitive box i have ever gotten. i also only got three mythics one foil and them all being the same. the up side of this box tho? the three mythics i got were all jace 2.0 so two regular jaces and a foil jace out of the same box it was a great day.

**** Litterally the only reason you would buy this box is for Jace 2, that is it, swing lands and basilisk collar are great too but everything else is a cheap rare or mythic.

***** I love this set and i almost have it collected but unlike the person above i do not believe that this set is underpowered, being as you would have too fctor that the 2 sets before it were large set and this one is small.

*** I agree with above. M10 and Zendikar had my expectations set to a new level. It is true that Worldwake has some decent "stand alone" cards in it; however, I'm hoping that Rise is the set that compliments Worldwake. One thing for sure is that I'm a sucker for foils. Troll and Toad has the best prices for the few select foils I have bought from Worldwake. I don't know what I would do without Troll and Toads website. It's my "wind down at the end of the day, piece of mind, kick back and relax" website I visit at least once an evening.

***** Bought a box for the first time and I will be making more than I paid just from opening a little more than half the box. I am going to save the rest of the packs and keep buying more with my profits.

***** Pulled a FOIL Jace in my first box of Worldwake! WOO HOO :)

***** getting a box soon but bought 3 boosters and got three mythics. two in one pack but this set has great cards thats a could follow up from zendikar.

***** This arrived promptly and as described, so far a great addition to the block!

**** This is an underpowered set. I ordered 4 boxes, and I'm worried about not getting anything worth it out of them. I'm afraid M10 and Zendikar has my expectations set too high.

**** This set isn't out yet, but I have seen spoilers on 99% of the cards in it. It seems to be a decent set with no under-powered mythics clogging up the roster. I would buy this, but then again I would buy an entire case of everything if I could afford it. I like the addition of more allies, they add flare to the block.
