It is not as effective as boil.

Boil? Maybe. I have a card that is the same except instead of returning a land to it's owner's hand, it can counter a blue spell being cast. Also, has anyone besides me notice this card looks a ton like volcanic island? I'm not giving the artist any credit on this one.

not as good as pyroblast or red elemental blast... but, it's still a decent card. it's an instant, it's cheap, and it destroys permanents.. not bad in my book..

Great card can take care of permanenets such as blue enchanments Nicol bolas, Jace, or any other blue creature in play let alone lands boil is cool but planeswalkers are getting big and red needs cards like these.
