This card is very handy in decks without creatures,
when your enemy plays with an Squirrel deck, he or she will lose all of her/his lovely squirrels that are most of the time 1/1 creatures, it is also very handy against White Weeny decks wich play with about 8 1/1 creatures one mana and 12 2/2 creatures two mana, and still
this card is not very good, because it takes four or five turns before you can play Aheter Flash, then
that player will have 6 creatures in play.
And... this card is wortless against decks with large creatures. -- By W-J from DC Washington VS on February 09, 2002 |

A cheap but extermly useful enchantment destroy those 1/1 tokens or 1/1 tap to do 1 damge and since many decks I have seen have a vast number of 1/1 or 2/2 creatures to attack fast and hard when joind together. -- By Bponzer from oshkosh,WI USA on August 06, 2002 |

Looking to build a burn deck? Begin here. This card is the key to a non-creature red deck. Put 4 of these with 4 Aether Stings in there and you'll take over instantly. With only 2 in play, noone can cast a creature with toughness less than 5 without it being killed instantly. Only minor drawback is mana cost (ain't Sandstone Needle grand?). -- By Telojan from Toledo on April 23, 2003 |
