This is without a doubt the best expansion ever made. This is the expansion that has the best land card ever printed: Library Of Alexandria. It also has the best Djinn cards ever printed like: Juzam Djinn & Ehrnam Djinn.
That is why I give it five stars. -- By Joseph Mom from Grecia, Costa Rica on October 01, 2006 |

The stories this set is based upon are highly fun I recommend them to anyone. It is the very first expansion set of all time. WoTC originally planned on this as a stand-alone set with different colored card backs (a purplish color similar to the booster pack). This was later fixed after a mob of protests from players.
This is why the Mountain is in the set, it was the only land not removed from the set. For me this set will always be a classic, The art(ali from cairo, juzam djinn serendib djinn and serendib efreet) theme (island of wak-wak,shahrazad,singing tree etc), abilities(bazaar of baghdad, library of alexandria, kird ape, juzam etc, serendib efreet) will always be classic. For me it is the standard by which I judge all later sets. -- By Matt from Corbin, KY on March 27, 2008 |
