no reviews? this card is a great mana producer for colors that might lack some constant mana production. I have three in my mono black deck, yes along with dark rituals, a breeding pit, and a bog initiate. sack a 0/1 thrull to it, convert the mana through my bog initiate, and drain their life, fun little combo. 
i use 4 of them in a deck i like to call whack-it-and-sack-it.. no creatures, just enchantments and spells to steal opponents' creatures.. the altar comes in handy for obvious reasons.. Your Rights :
