**** for those of you who don't know, this is a silver bordered card meaning it is from unglued or unhinged. two sets that were made just for fun. now I personally, would never tear this or any card. but then again, it is made for those die-hard mtg fans who would love to play a game of rule-breaking cards just for laughs. and for those of you that hate unhinged/unglued because they aren't tourney legal, shame on you. you most likely stole some pro champion's deck ideas anyways. (i'm looking at YOU elf/eldrazi monument users)

**** The answer is easy. Use Gleemax with Blacker Lotus "Choose the target of the spells and abilities. Play Blacker Lotus and tear the cards of your oppoiment. lol U have BFM?

***** Ever thought of that, if you play in non-transparent sleeves, you can still use it even after you tear it in half? I mean, you can use damaged/poor condition cards in non-transparent sleeves, like normal ones and there is no rule that tearing this in half is different from that, or is there?

***** This is the best card.... even better than Black Lotus. Unfortunatelly you can only use one time in your whole life.

-- By Anonymous from China on September 26, 2004

** OH MY GOD......? NIce affect let's do it rip rip rip, if u have friends say i am just gonna remove it from the game k but in tournaments let's rip it

-- By red whirlwind from u.s.a on April 14, 2004

**** or you could just use a proxy...ever thought of that?

-- By Anonymous from butterville on November 30, 2003

**** Sure the card says that you have to tear it up but between me and the people who play casually we never do because its just not worth it. Even with Chaos Confetti we tear up proxies.

**** you cannot buy black lotus for 3$. but you must own quite lots of them, when you must start all games on tornament with the same deck...

  -- By louckal from kromeriz,CZE on November 17, 2002

**** Blacker Lotus is not as good a black lotus because you have to tear up the card.
