seeing this on the top 50 list brought back memories. i had completely forgotten i used to play with card! and quite a bit too! i believe i paired this card with the 'tempest' block card 'blood frenzy.' a long time later i briefly thought about it again when then came out with the flashback card 'reckless charge.' i toyed with the idea of making a wall(now 'defender') type deck with all these spells in them and 'confusion in the ranks' for the ultimate fun casual deck. but i never did. in conclusion, a pretty fun card if you're playing with creatures. just watch out for the "instants" like direct damage, creature removal, and bounce.............

I had a mono-red deck with a playset of these, and all the original red knights with flanking. With the flanking trigger on the stack, I'd Blood Lust the creature they blocked with, and when the flanking resolved it would kill it. The same deck had Blood Frenzy s, Fatal Frenzy, and Brute Force. The deck wasn't great, but it really caught people off guard in the late game with Rorix/Blood Frenzy/Fatal Frenzy for 20 damage.

A fun old red card that will always have 4 slots in my mono red deck. good for a turn 2 raging goblin to attack for 5, or to weaken an opponents bigger cards so they can be taken down by a shock or lightning bolt. This card is versatile for mono red,and decent in multicolor decks. Its also fun to pair off with isochron scepter...
