This card is disgustingly insane, I honestly don't see how you can give it 3 stars...well anyway, I have 4 in my black deck and they are very deadly if you manage to get 1 or 2 out let alone 4! Think about this for a minute though, if you get 4 onto the field you can be taking out 2 creatures (of any toughness) off of the field. There is one small downside and that is the bounty hunter cannot put bounty counters on black creatures. :( In any case this is a staple for a black deck, and a steal at the price it is at today.

its average. downside is that it a) costs a whopping 4 mana b) is very fragil with having only 1 toughness c) is slow to use, since it can take out a critter only every two turns d) cant kill regenerating creatures still, its not really bad. if u find a way to untap it its ok. or if u play mono black players whichs creatures u cant kill easily. still, there are far better assassins out there

Personally one of my favorite cards but not good enough to get five stars. It's good that there is a black creature that can kill other black creatures and artifact creatures. But a red deck can easily take this card out of the game. Combine him with an untapper and now we're talking.

For playing against non-black decks (or even multicolored} this creature (especially a pair of them) can be extremely lethal. If you can get one on the board and have him ready before the opposing player can get a creature out you can get them locked down, taking out a creature every time they put one down. This is a great card, that is not well known, but should be!
