***** Although this Card is Amazing even as a Mono Artifact, I think it will increase in value over time because new players will play it incorrectly.

***** This works ridiculously well with High Tide or Bubbling Muck, assuming you want to run in mono colored deck. Otherwise best with Urzatron, the Legendary Lands from Urza Block I.E.: Tolarian Academy, Serra's Sanctum, etc.

***** Fun card. i like it with mishra's factory, maze of ith, desert, and the like. Of course you have to tap it to use it, just like any of the other mono artifacts of that time period. Cool oldschool artwork, flavor text, awesome collectible card.

***** A simple key to unbounded mana. With a Mana Flare and/or multi-mana lands (Vintage players have Tolarian Academy!), you can tap all of your lands for mana, tap this to untap them all, and turn a profit. All you need is a way to untap the Candelabra, and you're golden. I recommend Capsize with Buyback - just pick the Candelabra back up again and recast it. (Use Helm of Awakening for best results.) Never forget also that it can simply serve to swap colors around. Have an untapped Mountain but need your Island untapped instead? This'll fix that. - ZM

* Bill F. missed a point - the errata changes the name from Mono Artifact to Artifact *and* adds a {TAP} to the activated ability's cost. It is not a very powerful card, unless you're using it with Urza's Power Plant /Mine/Tower combo or the like. http://www.trollandtoad.com/p80539.html

***** Love using this card with some Diamond Valleys or the Library. Always fun.

-- By Chris from WI on April 11, 2009

***** G13.15a - Some older cards used the term "mono artifact" on the card's type line. They were artifacts that had activated abilities that included the tap symbol. Cards that were printed with the term "mono artifact" now simply use "artifact." [CompRules 2003/12/01] Good card, not limited to one use like the guy above tries to tell you. Otherwise, this card would kinda blow.

***** Just use artifact lands, and toss in a Clock of Omens or two.

**** so you know it is a MONO artifact. its a great card but you cant use it more than once a turn and once per land.

**** play with this in an all land 1.5 nuisance deck. just great and i love the fact that you have a real chance of sneaking it past 'counterspell' , 'mana drain,' or its ilk. as i've said, i play a nuisance deck and things can be alot of fun with cards like 'maze of ith,' 'ice floe,' 'desert,' and don't forget you can double pump cards like 'mishra's factory.' i just love the look on my opponents face when he trys to keep track of all that's happening. alot of times they can beat my deck but get so frustrated that they just sweep. although i DO warn them ahead of time that its a "nuisance" type thingie. hehehehehe...i'm still not sure if 'ice floe' can tap alot of creatures with the 'candelabra...' and keep all of them tapped on my untap. if ya' know what i mean. i sure don't. either way, its all good. all you need to know is that this little baby is one casting cost and gobs and gobs of untapping that will make your opponent squirm and fuss. just tell him you'll blow out the candles when you're good and ready. hehehehehehe..........................
