Released in December 1993, the Collector's Edition contains copies of all the Beta - Limited Edition cards. This international version has square corners and a gold border on the back. The difference between the international and domestic versions is that the international edition says "International Edition" on the back of the card. Collector's Edition contains 302 from limited edition with an additional 61 lands cards totally 363 cards for Magic: The Gathering. You can find the complete list here. This is a factory sealed set of 363 cards plus a a special printing of the rules booklet.
Of the 363 cards in the Collector's Edition set, the most famous cards are: Black Lotus, Ancestral Recall, and Mox Sapphire.

This has the same cards as beta, but they are not tournament legal because of the square corners and different backs.

Yes, but it is a great way to get the complete Beta set. And in non-official gameplay, it has some great cards. AND for collecting purposes, it is well worth it!

This is an awesome collection. A couple of the cards have been signed by the original artist. They are packed in my lock box and someday I might part with them. Otherwise, once in a while I'll look at the power 10 and drool...
