The Complete Fighter's Handbook Player's Handbook / Rules Supplement

Who says fighters are the poor cousins of the AD&D game? No one will say it aloud after reading the Complete Fighter's Handbook; 128 pages of mind-expanding advice on how to make your fighter the leanest, meanest threshing machine for leagues around. New weapons, new proficiencies, new fighting styles, and "Fighter Kits" make this optional AD&D accessory a useful item for players and DMs.

***** Before the arrival of Player's Option: Combat & Tatics, this was THE supplement to have if you were playing a warrior class. Not only does it touch upon that oh, so popular concept of weapon specialization, it introduced the concept of called shots and (my personal favorite) weapon groups, whereas by spending a few extra weapon slots you could become proficient in a number of weapons at the same time. This is on my list of Top 10 D&D products of all times.
