***** Ultimate in mono-black lock-down! Combine with things like Reassembling Skeleton(Faster than Breeding Pit), Bridge from Below, and Mortician Beetle;then you'll have tons of 2/2 black Zombie tokens in play, a huge Insect and a recurible creature at instant-speed all-the-while your opponent is mana hosed (Hopefully)

***** One of the best cards for monoblack deck that allows locking your opponents. Of course, it's not for MBC. It's for Reanimator - combine it with Verdant force and you'll see how it works! I'll even permit myself showing you a stupid goldfish game plan: Turn 1 - Unmask for alt cost, remove something stupid from your hand and make sure that your opponent doesn't have a counterspell / mana leak, force of will, thoughtseize, duress, etc. Then put your swamp onto the battlefield (Oh no, I hate this new wording!), putrid imp, discard your verdant force. Turn 2 - Another swamp, then play exhume/reanimate/animate dead, etc. Turn 3 - Contamination. Forever. That's it. You keep smashing your opponent, you're even getting 1 token each turn apart from the one that you're sacrificing to Contamination... And you still have your putrid imp. Yeeah!.. Unless your opponent is playing MBC. Then try to reanimate the new unbelievably powerful Sen Triplets on your second turn. And you win again. ;) P.S. Good old entomb... :(

*** every so often i'd read about this card making a scene in whatever the extended enviroment was. it seems like such a no brainer popping this dude in with something like 'nether spirit' or 'krovorkian horror'(if i spelled that wrong sorry, its out of 'alliances' i believe). but darned if i can make it work. so my hat's off to the advanced necromancers that can pull this puppy off. 'cause i've tried and tried with inconsitent results.............
