This card kicks some serious ass, it's one of the best cards in my Black/Green deck. I usually have my opponent nearly dead using this creature, before I get enough mana to cast the infamous Spiritmonger.

This is surely one of the best cards ever printed. This is a first turn card. I have personally had it come out on the first turn many times. Play your swamp use Dark Ritual and it's out there ready to start beating the opponent down. The second turn you can pump it up by one more in attack (or get lucky and have two other Dark Rituals ready to pump it up by two on the first turn, which doesn't seem like much but if you can do damage directly to the player in the early stages of the game your on your way to victory in a hurry.) And if you wanna shorten the pump cost, on your third turn play a Shade's Form on it, so you can pump it by four the next turn making the total damage you've done to the opponent this far nine on the FOURTH turn and be done with the game on the SIXTH turn, sure there is faster but that doesn't mean this card isn't great.
