***** The Most Commonly Printed Card in Arabian Nights, This has a Rarity of C11, so it was printed 11 times on every common sheet printed .

***** Desert, what can I say? Great land, gets around those pesky creatures during game play, it's colorless damage so it can bypass any pro color creature abilities. Can be duplicated with the Planar Chaos land, Vesuva. Imagine running a potential 8 Deserts? Overall desert is a great card, it serves to defend; most players think twice about attacking when there is enough Desert's in play. As a result I found i had more time to set up my game plan, and playing control decks the results were always in my favor. Desert, great card.

***** especially good now that boros wins has gotten so popular, a easy way to get rid of soltari priest or savannah lions, at least to dissuade them from attacking. very good for control.

**** Did you know that this is a C11 on the AK sheet? Not bad for a land. Good for defensive decks and can be used for mana and doesn't cost anything to play? Great

*** play with this in an all-land nuisance deck(with 'exploration' and 'crucible of worlds' of course). kind of like the mini-Bill Russell (old-time 'more championship rings than fingers' player from the Celtics). locks people down from attacking for several turns because they don't want their creatures to die. eventually you'll have to take care of them with some other cards because 'desert' doesn't prevent damage, but that doesn't mean you can't have even more fun with , say, 'candelebra of tawnos' or 'deserted temple.' hehehehehe...........
