The flexible prise depending on the level of mana your opponent has is likely to be affordable at any time. In early game you will probably not need to pay more than two or three mana to destroy any artifact and in later game ( If that happens ) you will be able to use greater amounts of mana to kill your opponent aswell as disabling greater artifacts. This is a good card, and as there are so many nice artifacts out there almost no deck excludes them completely. One "Detonate" in a red deck will prove useful.

this is a very powerful card against most decks at the moment,it can destroy an artifact lands,chrome mox and chalice of the void for 1!
