Don't try to outrun one of Dominia's Grizzlies; it'll catch you, knock you down, and eat you. Of course, you could run up a tree.  In that case, you'll get a nice view before it knocks the tree down and eats you.

*** ^^^Right.. nothing says BE AGGRESSIVE like smashing trees. If your opponent is running a saproling deck, Game Over.

***** ill just say that dropping a 2/2 GRIZZLY BEAR for 1G has got to be considered a great deal. you guys up there are talkin about dropping a kavu and crap but honestly would you rather have that lame kavu hiding behind the trunk of a tree or a GIANT GRIZZLY BEAR roarin at your opponent and SMASHIN A TREE IN HALF?? really people...i can't believe the depravity that's befallen the internet at this dark hour in magic history. to the nay-sayers who don't appreciate the true value of this card: take your miserable pessimism somewhere else, far away from the greatness of these bears. they are undeserving of such treatment. grizzly bears FTW!

-- By a grizzly bear from outside your room. Really, go look. No joke. on April 20, 2009

***** Nothing inspires more fear in your opponent than a big 'ol grizzly bear so dont try sayin that some stupid kavu thats bad is better, cus it just isnt.

***** Definitely THE card for mono green. This is simply fact. No card says "I'm running a mono-green fatties deck" like this classic creature. Thank you Wizards for printing a card this amazing.

***** Indisputably the best card ever

***** try woodland changeling. same cost and it fills in a lot o creature type requirements or like the above said kavu predator

-- By the guy outside you window from outside your house on March 09, 2008

** Kavu predator: Same mana, trample, and the potential to get huge.

**** or at wild mongrel, river boa, etc... Grees creatures are generally much better or their casting costs than those of other colors (except white).

** well if you think that a 1G casting cost is so great, you should look into pouncing jaguar, or skyshroud ridgeback, or any number of comparable or better cards for only G

**** I know that this seems a little high for a 2/2 no special, but lits look at afew other 2 mana creatures first:goblin raider 2/2 for 2 mana, but can't block second:Morgue Thrull 2/2 for 2 mana, but puts the top 3 cards into your graveyard third:Rabid Rats 1/1 for 2 mana, it taps to give target blocking creature-1/-1 so I think that next time you look at a this card then come pair it to other cards for the same cost
