This is a great card in avatar of woe/ black weenie deck. You can sacrifice a weenie to get woe in play for a small price. -- By Mary Mika from Maple Plain, MN USA on June 27, 2001 |

there is a good combo that i found that includes this card. Disciple of the vault + Nuiscene Engine + Hell's Caretaker and have a graveyard full of strong creatures to put into play. you could kill your opponent very quickly this combo. one of my favorites. -- By Alex Juergens from Oxford, MS USA on May 03, 2007 |

An underrated card...HC can be very nasty when used in conjunction with certain creatures. Creatures that work well include those that spawn something upon going to the graveyard, like Rukh Egg or Kokusho (a Kokusho in play and in the graveyard is almost a game winner with this in play, especially 2 HC in play). He also works well with Tetravus. -- By Lunaticfringe from So Cal, USA on May 06, 2008 |
